For dogs that have achieved, or are confidently working beyond, their GAP Level 1 skills.

This class develops greater control, confidence and teamwork while gradually introducing more distance, excitement and distractions.

Training may include:

• Off-lead heelwork

• Greater steadiness and self-management

• Strengthening the retrieve chain

• Marked and memory retrieves

• Left, right and back directional retrieves

• Retrieving around distractions

• Stop-whistle development

• Hunting patterns and the turn whistle

• Breed-appropriate searching

• Sweeping-up exercises
