For dogs that have achieved, or are confidently working beyond, their GAP Level 1 skills.
This class develops greater control, confidence and teamwork while gradually introducing more distance, excitement and distractions.
Training may include:
Off-lead heelwork
Greater steadiness and self-management
Strengthening the retrieve chain
Marked and memory retrieves
Left, right and back directional retrieves
Retrieving around distractions
Stop-whistle development
Hunting patterns and the turn whistle
Breed-appropriate searching
Sweeping-up exercises
